- SOLO: Solo Mandolin is ideal for weddings in churches and stately homes. The mandolin is the ultimate musical embodiment of warmth, romance and passion; making it the perfect instrument for weddings. If you would like Alison to play at the ceremony you can choose the style and leave the choice of pieces up to her or you can pick specific works of your choice. For drinks receptions Alison will normally play a mixture of styles unless instructed otherwise.
